ABOUT THE RACE
- The 5K benefits horticultural and educational programming here at Kingwood
- The race begins at 9:00 AM and is chip-timed
- The course winds through the Gardens and the Richland B & O Bike Trail
- The award ceremony will be held in the Courtyard after the race
- Participants can enjoy shopping in the Garden & Gift Shop, dining in the Gateway Café, and free admission to the gardens
- Please park in Kingwood’s Trimble Road parking lot and enter through the Garden Gateway visitor center

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art of gentle, flowing movement that is known for its health benefits. Regular practice can prevent pain and stiffness, lower blood pressure, improve balance and increase energy. This class can be performed seated or standing and is open to all ability levels.
