Setup Team Member

Job Overview: Setup Team members detailing Kingwood venues creates the baseline for transformative guest experiences in those event spaces. The setup team builds a beautiful space for each daily and special event, following client’s wishes and incorporating Kingwood Center Gardens quality standards of elegance and class.

Attention to detail regarding event setup punch lists are a must in this position while providing excellent customer service to all garden guests and garden staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up/tear down event items used for private venue rentals such as tables, chairs and linens for indoor and outdoor areas
  • Work with other departments in set up/tear down of Kingwood public events
  • Provides excellent customer service to all Kingwood departments to assure needs of the organization are met
  • Assist with heavy cleaning tasks and special projects (shampooing carpets, waxing floors, deep cleaning, clean up after large events, special projects) as needed
  • Assist with daily cleaning duties of buildings and grounds as needed
  • Perform minor maintenance activities
  • Notify supervisor of deficiencies, needs for repairs, and supply stock needs


  • Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must pass drug test
  • A high school degree or higher is preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
