A Year of Unforgettable Moments! From intimate gatherings to grand community celebrations, Kingwood’s 70th Anniversary Celebration promises a calendar brimming with memorable experiences for everyone. Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect:
Re-dedication Program for Kingwood Members: Kingwood invites our members to kick off our 70th anniversary celebration on Tuesday, October 10 at 2pm with a re-dedication program reminiscent of the original service held on the same date and time in 1953. Kingwood Members are invited to join together in the forecourt of Kingwood Hall. An online or call-in reservation will be required due to limited seating for this free event. In case of inclement weather, the program will be in the King Ballroom.
Historical Insights: Our team will share engaging content and photos that explore Kingwood’s history and community impact on social media, our website, and in an exciting on-grounds photo exhibit that will tentatively debut in Spring 2024.
Community Gatherings: Plan to join us for a community-wide celebration with the return of Family Day on August 4, 2024. Additional events and exclusive engagements are in the works to be shared later.
