Job Overview: The Kingwood Christmas Associate promotes positive guest experience delivering excellent guest engagement skills in a few key parts of the guest experience of Christmas at Kingwood. The Christmas Associate primarily provides guests with physical limitations and safe shuttle passage to various points of interest in the Christmas at Kingwood seasonal show, direct guest viewing Kingwood Hall, or guest experience needs as they arise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely shuttle garden guests to predetermined points along the Christmas at Kingwood shuttle route using one of Kingwood’s multi-seat carts
- Assist guests on and off the shuttle in all weather conditions
- Assist garden volunteers and staff with ensuring guests visiting the mansion are safely following the viewing route
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of continuous standing, sitting, or walking along with occasional stooping, bending, reaching, crouching
- Must be able to move around garden in all weather conditions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Must be goal-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to potential unanticipated opportunities
- Ability to work with diverse staff and volunteers
- Ability to related to, work with people of all ages, diverse backgrounds, skills and abilities
Qualifications:
- At least one year of customer experience required
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass drug test
