Soaring into Kingwood This Summer
Experience an outdoor glass exhibit where luminous sculptures take flight
Glass in Flight 2 presents the work of nationally acclaimed artist Alex Heveri in a breathtaking outdoor exhibition at Kingwood Center Gardens. Inspired by the natural world, her larger-than-life sculptures celebrate pollinators in luminous Dalle de verre glass that shifts and glows with the changing light.
Guests will explore more than 40 sculptures set across Kingwood’s gardens, including the fan-favorite Monarch Archway, now reimagined to soar 15 feet high with six large-scale Monarchs perched on steel-crafted milkweed branches. Several brand-new works by Alex will make their first-ever appearance at Kingwood.
Glass in Flight has captivated visitors at leading destinations across the country, including Tucson Botanical Gardens, Reiman Gardens, Houston Botanic Garden, Atlanta Botanical Garden, and San Antonio Zoo.
