The Christmas at Kingwood Display
Over the years, the Christmas display has changed every year and this year is no different. In fact, the outdoor display has expanded significantly!
Our outdoor feature, the Trail of Lights, will light up with over 200 lighted "trees". This display will look great during the day, but at night it will be absolutely magical. The Trail of Lights would not be possible without the hours of work and donated materials from Scott and LuAnn Trumpower, with their friends and family.
The courtyard area is one you won't want to miss. In the Exhibit Hall and part of the Greenhouse, you'll stroll through the "Tree Walk" that holds over 40 trees and wreaths decorated by local businesses. The rest of the Greenhouse has its own special Christmas display along with a great plant selection including your holiday favorites. The Carriage House will hold several of our holiday events, such as: A Christmas Carol presented by the Hampstead Stage Company, the Christmas Market, visits with Santa, and the model train show.
Finally, a trip to Christmas at Kingwood isn't complete until you visit Kingwood Hall. You'll enter into the grand foyer and the first thing you will see is a 2-story tree, decorated yearly by Kingwood Staff, Board, and our families. Every room on the first and second floor, including the hallways, are decorated for your enjoyment. From the ballroom, to the library, to the dining room, all of the rooms you will see are decorated by local garden clubs, Kingwood volunteers, and staff.
