Join the return of Kingwood’s annual Landscape Inspirations symposium:

CONNECTING WITH NATURE FOR HEALTHY LIVING
Immersing oneself in nature may have beneficial effects on health and wellness, including mind, body and spirit. Explore an introduction into shinrin-yoku (the Japanese art of forest-bathing), learn about therapeutic gardening, discover adaptive techniques for how to garden as we age, and how to apply these concepts into home gardens to promote overall well-being.
Speakers include:
–Maureen Stine, Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Natureology, and author of Grass Left Standing: A Park Interpreter’s Road Map to Forest Bathing
–Joe Lansing, Franklin County Master Gardener, Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens
–Laura Akgerman, MA, CRC, Disability Services Coordinator, Ohio AgrAbility/OSU Extension
