Join us for the live production of American Folktales & Songs, presented by The Hampstead Stage Company on Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 at 6:00pm. This is a family friendly event that tells the story of two traveling workers at the height of the Great Depression. Alone and without work, they find warmth in the mutual discovery of traditional American folk songs and tall tales including Paul Bunyan, Kate Shelley, and John Henry. Through music and storytelling, these new friends bring classic folktales from all over America to life! Join us on a great adventure as we travel from sea to shining sea discovering great American legends.
